In the quiet suburbs of North Harris County, a dispute between roommates shattered the evening calm and ended in the tragic death of 52-year-old Kelvin Jones. On the evening of Friday, January 9, 2026, deputies were dispatched to a residence on Thornwilde Park Lane, where they discovered Jones's body inside the garage. He had been fatally shot. The ensuing investigation quickly focused on his roommate, who was promptly taken into custody at the scene.
