On April 7, 2024, 29-year-old Oran O'Lee Trahan of Beaumont, Texas, was fatally shot under tragic circumstances. At approximately 1:15 a.m., Trahan was in his black Chrysler 300 at the old fairgrounds parking lot on Gulf Street, with three of his young children—ages 3, 2, and 1—in the back seat, when he was attacked.
