On April 17, 2024, at approximately 1:30 a.m., 37-year-old Nicole Evette Wells was fatally shot in the garage of a residence on the 5600 block of Espada Cliff in San Antonio, Texas. A 41-year-old man present with her sustained gunshot wounds to the chest and arm and was transported to Brooke Army Medical Center in critical condition. The assailant approached the garage and fired multiple shots before fleeing the scene. The motive for the attack remains unknown, and the investigation is ongoing.
