Dessire Allen, a 35-year-old African American woman, was tragically killed on October 25, 2017, in San Antonio, Texas. Allen was fatally shot in the head around 1:15 a.m. while she was sleeping in her apartment on the East Side of San Antonio. The incident occurred just an hour after the conclusion of her 35th birthday. At the time of her death, Allen was two months pregnant with her fourth child.
