On May 30, 2024, in Spring, Texas, 33-year-old Chantal Cantu tragically lost her life in a murder-suicide incident. The perpetrator was her 39-year-old boyfriend, with whom she shared a residence. The incident occurred at their apartment complex on Springwood Village Parkway. Authorities responded to reports of gunfire and discovered both adults deceased from gunshot wounds. Chantal's 10-year-old daughter was also present and sustained critical injuries during the altercation.
