On April 6, 2023, at approximately 4:15 PM, deputies from the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office responded to a welfare check request at a residence located in the 25000 block of Oakhurst Drive in Spring, Texas. Upon arrival, they discovered two individuals deceased inside the home. The victims were identified as 28-year-old Maria Olvera and 55-year-old Paul Bailiff.
