On July 10, 2024, 28-year-old Houston resident Fernando Esqueda was fatally shot in the 700 block of West Little York Road. Responding officers found Esqueda with multiple gunshot wounds; he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators identified two suspects: 30-year-old John Doe and 25-year-old Jane Smith. Both were arrested on July 15, 2024, following a tip-off. They face charges of first-degree murder and are held without bail pending trial.
