William Rutherford Thomas, a 36-year-old African American man, tragically died on October 26, 2019, in Houston, Texas. He was found with multiple gunshot wounds in the driveway of a music studio located at 2701 North Durham Drive. Paramedics transported him to Ben Taub General Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The Houston Police Department's Homicide Division launched an investigation into the incident.
