In the summer of 2022, a burst of gunfire shattered the evening calm in the Gravois Park neighborhood of St. Louis, leaving two men dead and a community searching for answers. One of the victims was Rory Brandon, a 30-year-old male resident of the city. On the night of August 18th, police responded to calls of a shooting and discovered Brandon and another man, Corey Burgess, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
The shooting occurred at the intersection of Minnesota Avenue and Winnebago Street.
