In the late hours of a cold Saturday night in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, the life of 30-year-old Steven J. Brown, a Black / African American male, was tragically cut short. On February 24, 2018, just before midnight, the sound of gunfire echoed in the neighborhood near 41st and Hadley. When police officers arrived at the scene around 11:50 p.m., they discovered Brown suffering from a fatal gunshot wound.
