Jason Smith, a 26-year-old male, tragically lost his life on October 8, 2021, in Houston, TX. The incident occurred around 3 a.m. at an apartment complex located at 6013 Schroeder Street. Smith was found suffering from a gunshot wound and was quickly transported to Memorial Hermann-Texas Medical Center, where he was pronounced deceased. According to Smith's mother, she was asleep when she heard a gunshot, and upon investigating, she found her son on the floor.
