On July 12, 2024, 19-year-old mother of two, Zenri McGee, was fatally shot at the Clarion Inn & Suites DFW North in Irving, Texas. Responding to multiple noise complaints around 8:50 p.m., Irving police arrived to find McGee critically injured from gunshot wounds. She was transported to Baylor Scott & White Medical Center in Grapevine, where she was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.
