On the night of July 18, 2024, at approximately 11:25 p.m., Dallas police responded to a shooting incident in the 11300 block of Amanda Lane, located in the Lake Highlands area. Upon arrival, officers discovered 18-year-old Khamoni Tyreq Williams lying on the ground with a gunshot wound. He was promptly transported to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
