On August 8, 2024, at approximately 3:57 p.m., Killeen Police Department officers responded to a call reporting a deceased individual at a residence in the 1200 block of Charisse Street in Killeen, Texas. Upon arrival, officers discovered two individuals with gunshot wounds: 21-year-old Leah Arianna Mills and 22-year-old Noah Nerio. Both were pronounced dead at the scene by Justice of the Peace Nicola James at 5:26 p.m.
