On August 17, 2024, at approximately 1:51 a.m., Fort Worth police responded to a shooting at 2420 Ross Avenue, where they discovered 41-year-old Fermin Lucio Ramirez and his 22-year-old son, Jacob Ramirez, both fatally wounded. The tragic incident unfolded after a night of socializing that escalated into violence.
