Kevin Hernandez, 36, a male from Fort Worth, was shot to death on the night of August 7, 2025, while sitting in the driver’s seat of a pickup truck outside the Louisiana Famous Chicken and Seafood on Ramey Avenue. Officers were dispatched just before 10 p.m. and found Kevin Hernandez with multiple gunshot wounds; his truck had rolled forward and bumped the restaurant after the burst of gunfire, leaving minor damage before coming to rest.
