Following an investigation, on September 4, 2024, Dallas police arrested 21-year-old Keland Turner in connection with the shooting. Turner was charged with murder and booked into the Dallas County Jail, with bond set at $250,000.
Stevie Gray, born on March 24, 1984, in Tyler, Texas, was remembered as a beloved father, son, and brother. He is survived by his parents, Stevie Seaton and Sharon Gray Seaton, his daughter, Carlissa Taylor Gray, and his sister, Dinetria Seaton. Funeral services were held on August 31, 2024, at Lee Springs Baptist Church in Flint, Texas, followed by interment at Lee Springs Cemetery.
