Michael Smith

On the evening of August 28, 2024, at approximately 9:10 p.m., 19-year-old Michael Smith was fatally shot at 9551 North Wayside Drive in Houston, Texas. According to a witness present at the scene, Smith was walking through the park when an unknown male approached, threatened him with a firearm, and subsequently shot him. The assailant then fled on foot toward Hamlet Street. Emergency responders arrived promptly, but Smith was pronounced dead at the scene.
