On September 9, 2024, at approximately 2 a.m., Burleson police responded to a shooting incident at The Depot on Main Apartments, located at 125 N. Main Street in Burleson, Texas. Upon arrival, officers discovered a female victim in critical condition, who was promptly transported to a hospital. Inside the apartment, they found the body of 21-year-old Jose Antonio Gomez, who had succumbed to gunshot wounds.
