On September 12, 2024, 25-year-old Jalen Amari Whitlock-Easterling was tragically shot and killed at her Houston, Texas, residence during a birthday celebration for her 6-year-old child. The alleged assailant, identified as 27-year-old Jalin J. Foreman, is the father of Whitlock-Easterling's two children. According to reports, Foreman arrived uninvited at the townhome on Locksley Road around 8:35 p.m., leading to a confrontation that escalated into violence.
