On September 13, 2024, at approximately 6:55 a.m., Houston Police Department (HPD) officers responded to a call regarding a suspicious event in the parking lot of a business located at 7598 Harwin Drive. Upon arrival, they discovered 64-year-old Mohammed Al Quraishi unresponsive, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Paramedics pronounced him deceased at the scene.
At the location, officers encountered 56-year-old Ennis Randolph III, who admitted to shooting Al Quraishi.
The officers disarmed and detained Randolph without incident. Following consultations with the Harris County District Attorney's Office, Randolph was charged with murder and subsequently transported to the Harris County Jail.
The motive behind the shooting has not been publicly disclosed, and it remains unclear what relationship, if any, existed between Randolph and Al Quraishi. The investigation is ongoing as authorities seek to understand the circumstances leading up to this tragic event.
