On September 15, 2024, 28-year-old Kenya Joy Bland was found deceased in an apparent murder-suicide at the Dwell at Legacy Apartment complex on East Sonterra Boulevard in San Antonio, Texas. The Bexar County Medical Examiner's Office determined that Bland died from a gunshot wound to the head, ruling her death a homicide.
