On May 29, 2024, 66-year-old Magin A. Hernandez was fatally shot in her home on Gunsight Pass in northwest Bexar County, San Antonio, Texas. Her husband, 64-year-old Dexter Reyes, contacted the Bexar County Sheriff's Office (BCSO) around 10:40 a.m., claiming he had accidentally shot his wife.
