On July 4, 2017, 15-year-old Caroline Guzman was tragically shot and killed at her home on the South Side of San Antonio, Texas. Caroline was outside playing with two other children, a 12-year-old boy and a 2-year-old, when she was struck in the chest by a bullet. The bullet was initially thought to have come from a nearby field, but the investigation revealed inconsistencies in this account.
