On October 13, 2015, the life of 37-year-old Dometrique Shepherd of Belen, New Mexico, was tragically cut short. His body was discovered in a drainage ditch, the victim of a fatal shooting. The initial investigation into his death led authorities to a man named Adrien Meestas, who was arrested in connection with the homicide. However, the case against him was later dismissed due to a lack of probable cause.
