On October 20, 2024, 17-year-old Laurynn Galloway was tragically shot and killed in the parking lot of the Costa Ibiza apartment complex in north Harris County, Houston. Authorities responded to reports of gunfire around midnight and discovered Galloway with multiple gunshot wounds; she was pronounced dead at the scene.
