On January 23, 2023, 43-year-old Yetao Bing was among seven individuals fatally shot in a tragic mass shooting at two mushroom farms in Half Moon Bay, California. The suspect, 66-year-old Chunli Zhao, a fellow worker at the farms, was arrested shortly after the incident and has been charged with multiple counts of first-degree murder and attempted murder.
