On January 23, 2024, 48-year-old Lisa Ortiz was found deceased in a residence on the 5900 block of South Flores Street in San Antonio, Texas. The San Antonio Police Department (SAPD) conducted a welfare check after receiving information that Ortiz had been killed by her boyfriend, 46-year-old John Garcia.
