The Sacramento County Sheriff's Office launched an investigation and, by March 4, 2023, had arrested two suspects: 22-year-old Traydeon Jamarr Holmes and 41-year-old Monique Renee Moore. Both were booked into the Sacramento County Main Jail on murder charges and were scheduled to appear in court on March 7, 2023.
