On March 18, 2023, 50-year-old Cesar Antillon Muñoz and 45-year-old Elidia Solis De Mejia were fatally shot at their residence on Lexington Avenue in east Bakersfield, California. Deputies from the Kern County Sheriff's Office responded to reports of a shooting around 5:02 p.m. and discovered both victims deceased at the scene from gunshot wounds.
