On June 26, 2023, at approximately 2:20 p.m., Vacaville police responded to multiple reports of gunshots in the 1100 block of Cinnabar Way. Upon arrival, officers discovered 26-year-old Fairfield resident, Jayro Magana, suffering from critical gunshot wounds. Despite receiving immediate medical attention and being transported to a local hospital, Magana succumbed to his injuries.
