On the morning of April 13, 2025, the Solano County Sheriff's Office responded to a report of a fire on Cherry Glen Road in Vacaville, California. Upon arrival, deputies discovered the burned body of a man later identified as 58-year-old Adam Muela, a male resident of Bay Point. An autopsy revealed that the victim had sustained multiple gunshot wounds prior to being set on fire, leading investigators to classify the case as a homicide.
