On August 10, 2023, at approximately 11:36 a.m., Merced County Sheriff's deputies responded to reports of gunshots near the 16500 block of Bloss Avenue in Delhi, California. Upon arrival, they discovered 58-year-old Martha Mendoza deceased from gunshot wounds.
