On October 29, 2023, 44-year-old Sulkhan Singh of Clovis, California, was found deceased in the 1900 block of Planz Road in south Bakersfield. Responding to reports of a man down around 7:45 a.m., officers from the Bakersfield Police Department discovered Singh suffering from multiple gunshot wounds; he was pronounced dead at the scene.
