Greg Hovland

On November 6, 2023, retired Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department (LASD) Sergeant Greg Hovland, aged 67, was found deceased at his residence in Quartz Hill, California. The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner-Coroner determined the cause of death to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the chest, ruling it a suicide.
