On November 7, 2023, at approximately 1:04 p.m., Sacramento Police Department officers responded to a medical aid call in the 100 Block of River Run Circle. Upon arrival, they forced entry into the residence and discovered two individuals: a 55-year-old woman, later identified as Marilyn Kay Dorsey, and an adult male, both suffering from life-threatening gunshot wounds.
