On December 5, 2023, at approximately 11:24 p.m., the San Diego County Sheriff's Department received reports of multiple gunshots near the intersection of State Route 78 and Haverford Road in Ramona, California. Upon arrival, deputies discovered a red Ford F150 with 35-year-old Ramona resident, Angel "AJ" Jauregui, inside, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
