In the quiet town of Ramona, California, a tragic story unfolded on the evening of July 6, 2026, culminating in the death of 32-year-old Nicholas McClure, a male resident of San Diego County. Deputies from the Ramona Sheriff's Substation were dispatched to a home in the 600 block of 11th Street at approximately 8:44 p.m. following a report of an assault with a firearm.
