On March 2, 2024, 66-year-old Harry Eugene Clark Jr. was found dead in his home on Clyde Street in east Bakersfield, California. Responding to a report of an assault, officers from the Bakersfield Police Department discovered Clark's body exhibiting signs of trauma.
