Christopher Tare Higginbotham, aged 48, was found deceased on April 30, 2016, in his home located on Lily Pad Court in Northwest Bakersfield, California. His death was part of a tragic double homicide that also claimed the life of his wife, Kim Higginbotham, who was also 48 years old. The couple was discovered by the Bakersfield Police Department, lying in a pool of blood. The initial investigation revealed that both victims had suffered fatal gunshot wounds.
