Brent Cannady, a 37-year-old resident of Bakersfield, California, tragically lost his life on August 5, 2019. The incident that led to his death began when Cannady and a friend confronted Marvinesha Johnson, who was attempting to steal a bicycle outside an apartment in central Bakersfield.
