Death by Force

On March 10, 2024, at approximately 3:45 a.m., 32-year-old Los Angeles resident Tereal Edwards was fatally shot in the unincorporated Athens Village area of Los Angeles County. The incident occurred on the sidewalk in the 600 block of East 121st Place. Emergency responders pronounced Edwards dead at the scene at 3:58 a.m.

The Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner-Coroner determined the manner of death to be homicide, resulting from multiple gunshot wounds.
