Derrick Deon Hicks, a 25-year-old man from Los Angeles, California, was tragically killed on April 21, 2016. According to reports, Hicks was standing on the sidewalk at the corner of 89th Street and Budlong Avenue in the Westmont area of South Los Angeles when he was approached by another man.
