On a December night in 1982, the lives of three families in Beaufort County, North Carolina, were forever altered by a mystery that would endure for over four decades. Twenty-four-year-old David Leonard McMicken, along with his companions, 32-year-old Michael Fay Norman and 30-year-old William Earl Clifton, vanished after being seen at a local tavern in Chocowinity known as the VIP Club.
