William Clifton, a 30-year-old man from Washington, North Carolina, went missing on December 10, 1982. He was last seen leaving a bar called the VIP Club in Beaufort County with two other men, David McMicken and Michael Norman. The trio had been driving a 1975 Chevrolet Camaro with North Carolina license plate DLS42.
