On April 27, 2024, at approximately 6:45 a.m., Livermore police responded to a shooting at the La Quinta Inn on Southfront Road. Upon arrival, officers discovered two individuals, 26-year-old Lizabeth Murillo-Rodriguez and 21-year-old Christopher Vera, both from Oakland, deceased from gunshot wounds.
