Reina Ines Angulo Mercado, a 50-year-old Latina, tragically lost her life on June 29, 2018, after being shot in the 1300 block of James M. Wood Boulevard in the Westlake area of Los Angeles. The incident occurred around 10 p.m. on June 26, 2018, while Mercado was standing on a sidewalk with her son and husband, who were working on a vehicle.
