Upon arrival, they discovered 34-year-old Timothy Matthews suffering from multiple gunshot wounds; he was pronounced dead at the scene.
The investigation revealed that Matthews had been involved in a family dispute with his 18-year-old stepson, Jakari Curry, leading up to the shooting. Curry was arrested at the scene and charged with Matthews' death.
