Night Watchman Charles W. Keller, aged 47, tragically lost his life on August 13, 1916, in Chino, California. Keller, who had served with the Chino Police Department for five years, was on duty when he encountered a group of men causing a disturbance. In his attempt to maintain order, Keller instructed the men to quiet down.
