On June 7, 2024, at approximately 2:30 a.m., 19-year-old Erick Monterroso McClaughlin was fatally shot in the 44000 block of Gingham Avenue in Lancaster, California. Emergency responders transported him to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
